Duke Energy Foundation gives $5,000 for Waldron Playground Equipment

The Duke Energy Foundation presented a $5,000 check to Shelby Eastern Schools at its board meeting Tuesday evening. The money will go toward Waldron Elementary’s new playground equipment. The new purchases will be specifically tailored for the pre-school children, who do not currently have age-appropriate equipment.
